1. Your request, in plain English
You are requesting a phone call from Stronghold Advice about reviewing your superannuation. This website is a paid referral service, not a super fund or financial adviser. No fund changes are made through this form.
This notice covers this website’s collection and referral process. Read Stronghold Advice’s official privacy policy for its handling of information after receiving your enquiry.
2. Who operates this website
Surge Technologies LLC operates this referral website and receives payment for referrals to Stronghold Advice. In this notice, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the website operator—not to Stronghold Advice or its licensee.
Website operator: Surge Technologies LLC
Privacy contact: privacy@australiasuperreview.com
Contact address: Contact us using the email above.
3. Review provider and official policy
Stronghold Advice Pty Ltd is the review provider. Its published privacy policy identifies it as Corporate Authorised Representative 1313382 of SmartMove Advice Pty Ltd, AFSL 550455.
For Stronghold-held records: admin@strongholdadvice.com.au, or its official contact page.
Read Stronghold Advice’s published privacy policy and provider disclosures ↗That document is Stronghold’s policy, not a representation that this separate referral business holds its licence.
4. Information collected
The form asks for your full name, email address, Australian mobile number, age, estimated super balance, current super fund selection and whether you are currently working. “Other” is available if your fund is not listed. We do not request super account credentials, tax file numbers, identity documents or payment details.
We also record the review-call consent wording, consent version, submission time, request reference, the A/B page variant, and campaign source tags including Google and Meta advertising click identifiers. With that consent record we store the IP address and browser user-agent the request was sent from. Email and mobile formats are checked for shape only: this form does not confirm that you own the email address, or that the mobile number belongs to you or can be reached.
Hosting and security services process technical request data, such as an IP address, requested page and browser information, to serve the site and prevent abuse.
5. When information is sent
Your quiz answers stay in the current browser page until you press the final button on the contact screen. At that point the details are sent to our server, which checks them and forwards the enquiry over an authenticated HTTPS connection to the operator’s lead system.
This form performs no identity check of any kind. There is no SMS code, no call-back check and no document check. We confirm only that the mobile number is shaped like an Australian mobile. Nothing here verifies your legal identity, age, super balance, fund membership or eligibility for advice.
If delivery cannot be confirmed, the form shows an error. A connection failure or timeout does not guarantee that the receiving system has not recorded your enquiry. There is no background queue for a later retry; repeat submissions may be deduplicated.
7. Security, location and retention
We use access-restricted records, encrypted network connections and server-side validation. No internet service is risk-free. The IP address and user-agent of a submission are recorded with the consent record and are sent to Meta for advertising measurement as described in section 9; hosting providers may separately retain technical logs.
Processing and authorised-access locations: SMARTMOVE ADVICE PTY LTD, AFSL 550 455, ABN 23 667 350 370, ACN 667 350 370, 10-12/207 Currumburra Road, Ashmore QLD 4214, Australia; info@smartmoveadvice.com.au. Services and staff access can involve countries outside Australia. These arrangements are subject to the relevant service and privacy safeguards; this notice does not ask you to waive your privacy protections.
Our server keeps a short-lived count of recent submissions per connection to limit abuse; it is discarded within hours and is not linked to your enquiry record. Each enquiry itself is held by the operator’s lead system under that system’s own retention settings.
Lead and consent records are retained while reasonably needed for the requested introduction, reconciliation, handling complaints and legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified when no longer required. Stronghold maintains the records it receives under its own policy and obligations.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
Providing details is voluntary. You can browse without submitting. Without the required details and call consent, we cannot send a request through this form. No fund assessment is made from the options you select.
To request access, correction or deletion of operator-held information, or withdraw your call request, email privacy@australiasuperreview.com. Include your name and the relevant request reference where available; do not send passwords or unnecessary identity documents. We may need to confirm your identity before releasing records.
Withdrawing permission cannot undo an earlier disclosure. If the enquiry has already reached Stronghold, also contact Stronghold to stop further calls. Deletion may be limited by applicable recordkeeping obligations; we will explain any relevant limitation.
9. Advertising measurement, analytics and cookies
The entry page directs visitors to the current review form. The submitted enquiry records which form version was used so referrals and performance can be reconciled.
If you arrive from a Meta (Facebook or Instagram) advertisement, the link carries a click identifier. We keep that identifier, and any Meta cookie values present in your browser, for the duration of your visit so a resulting enquiry can be attributed to the advertisement.
When a review form page loads, the Meta Pixel and our server report a PageView event to Meta for advertising measurement. This includes the page address, Meta click/browser identifiers, IP address and browser user-agent. Meta browser identifiers may be stored in cookies for up to 90 days. Page-view reports do not include your quiz answers or contact details. The browser and server share an event identifier so Meta can deduplicate the reports. We skip page-view reporting when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. You can also block advertising cookies or clear site data in your browser.
When an enquiry is submitted, our server reports a “Lead” event to the Meta Conversions API. That report contains the click identifier and cookie values, your IP address and browser user-agent, your selected super fund and form version, and your name, email address and mobile number in hashed (SHA-256) form. Meta uses the hashes to match the event to an account it already holds; it does not receive those details in readable form from us. Meta processes this under its own terms as an independent controller.
We use PostHog, a product-analytics service, to understand how this page is used and to improve it. PostHog records page views and on-page interactions — such as the steps you reach and the buttons and links you tap — and may capture a session recording, which is a replay of on-screen actions like scrolling and button presses. Anything you type is masked, so your name, email address and mobile number are not captured in readable form in these recordings. To do this, PostHog processes technical information including your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages and actions in your visit, and stores identifiers in your browser. This information is processed by PostHog in the United States. We do not run this analytics or session recording when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, and you can block or clear site data in your browser.
The form also creates page-step events in browser memory. Your visit’s campaign tags are kept in browser session storage until the tab is closed. The submitted lead includes the A/B label and campaign tags so referrals can be reconciled. Campaign tags should not contain personal information.
10. Questions and complaints
Contact privacy@australiasuperreview.com with a privacy question or complaint about this website. Explain what happened and the outcome sought. We will consider the request and respond within a reasonable period, including explaining any lawful limitation on access or deletion.
For an unresolved privacy complaint where applicable, contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Stronghold’s own policy sets out its separate contacts for complaints about information it holds.
Updates to this notice do not retrospectively expand the specific review-call permission you gave.
